Western Sydney, Australia’s most diverse region, is on the front lines of the climate crisis. 

With less access to cooling, more extreme heat periods and right next to Australian bushfires – it should be the centre of decision making in politics.

But it’s not, because communities of colour are routinely left out of decisions in politics, particularly on climate.

With Scott Morrison arriving at COP26 with a real plan to tackle the climate crisis, it’s time we organise ourselves. 

That’s why we created the Western Sydney Climate Justice Fellowship – a programme dedicating to equipping communities of colour with the tools and skills to organise and advocate for Western Sydney.
