We’re looking for two people of colour to become racial justice leaders in Queensland. This is an unparalleled opportunity to grow an innovative non-profit in its early stages, shaping its day-to-day operations and overall strategic direction as a major new presence in Australian progressive politics.

This is your chance to be part of a movement for racial justice that is led by and for people of colour.

As the Queensland State Coordinator, you’ll be the central leadership point for Democracy in Colour in Queensland – designing and implementing campaign plans, developing engagement strategies and building relationships that strengthen the political power of communities of colour in Queensland.

You will work to inspire, motivate and organise an emerging and growing movement. You will manage the Queensland team, you’ll work collaboratively with State Coordinators and the National team. Your role will be crucial in developing and running Democracy in Colour’s national campaign, and you will be part of the community fundraising strategy.
