In the next few days, the NSW government will decide if it is going to prop up black coal by keeping the Eraring coal-fired power station open past its existing 2025 closure date. This would be a devastating decision, in complete contradiction with the Minn’s government’s months-old election commitments and a cost of hundreds of millions of dollars per year.

Keeping this power plant open would be a disaster for our communities, reducing access to clean affordable energy and making it almost impossible for the state to meet its own climate targets.

Email Premier Minns to make sure that this government prioritises clean affordable energy that is accessible to all of us instead of funding polluting coal-fired power.
