Western Sydney, Australia’s most diverse regions, is on the front lines to climate crisis. With less access to cooling, more extreme heat periods and right next to Australian bushfires – it should be centre of decision making in politics.
But it’s not, because communities of colour are routinely left out of decisions in politics, particularly on climate.
That’s why we created the Western Sydney Climate Justice Fellowship – a programme dedicating to equipping communities of colour with the tools and skills to organise and advocate for Western Sydney.
Will you chip in $25 to continue training more people of colour to lead the fight for change in our own communities?
